01 Pic 4Knowing What To Do in Every Situation

//Timeless Teachings of Kenneth E. Hagin

Too often, we seek guidance every other way except the way God said it was to come. We judge by our physical senses, or we look at things from a mental standpoint. Meanwhile, our spirit is kept locked away in prison, so to speak, and is not permitted to function.

But our Heavenly Father said, "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord" (Prov. 20:27). That means He will enlighten and guide us through our spirits.

Fear Not

Almost all of us have experienced some measure of intimidating fear in our life—and it's not a good feeling. It is tormenting and uncomfortable. And if we don't purpose in our hearts to conquer it, we will never accomplish much for God.

Satan loves it when we're intimidated. When we view ourselves as unqualified and insignificant, lacking confidence and feeling insecure, we play right into his hands.

Why do we let the enemy influence us? John 8:44 says he isn't capable of speaking the truth. When he says, "You can't do that!" "Who do you think you are?"—he's lying!

Wait! One Step at a Time!

01 Pic 2// Lynette Hagin

A good lesson I learned when my husband and I first started working at Kenneth Hagin Ministries was how to wait on God. It was a hard lesson, and at first it gave me a lot of grey hair.

You see, I'm a "happener"! If something needs to be done, I will make it happen. It was my responsibility to carry out the decisions of my father-in-law, the late Kenneth E. Hagin. But before I could do anything, I had to wait until he decided what to do. And he was never in a hurry when it came to making decisions.
