Winter Bible Seminar 2012 - Update 4

wbs12-wednesdayWednesday, February 22. During the 8:30 a.m. session, Bill Ray highlighted five things that will change in our lives as we grown in the fear of the Lord. One of them is peace. But we won’t have peace if we are sinning and are not repentant. “When we refuse to repent, a callus will begin to form over our heart,” he said. “It's impossible to have peace if you don’t have a clear conscience.”

In the 9:30 a.m. session, Craig W. Hagin delivered a soul-searching message on loving our neighbor. He said too few of us who believe love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves. “We are to love people, not just love certain people,” he said. “If you can’t touch your neighbor, you can’t touch the world.”

Using her personal experiences as an example, Lynette Hagin taught Wednesday morning’s Winter Bible Seminar attendees the importance of obeying God, and doing it willingly. No matter what it looks like, she said, if we’ll remain faithful to our call, God will provide. He will prepare us for things to come—things we aren’t yet aware of. “God is planning great and mighty things for your lives,” she encouraged the crowd. “But you must commit and submit to Him.”

Kenneth W. Hagin exhorted the Wednesday evening congregation that this is their year of breakout. “As you face this year, never forget that God has not changed,” said Rev. Hagin. “If He delivered one person, He’ll deliver you.” The power of God has not weakened, he continued. It is the same today as it was during New Testament times. “Just follow Paul and Silas’ example and praise God during your midnight hour, knowing that it’s not over until you and God win!”
